Sunny California

So, it has been a while since I have had time to post. I don't have time to do pictures this time, but I hope to get them up over the weekend. Robbie and Kamren are in wrestling, again! So our weekends are shot and the week is so darn busy. A couple of weekends ago there was a big competition at the Holt Arena in Pocatello, it was two days of wrestling. I took the boys on Friday since Eric had to work and I ended up helping at the tables...this was interesting with Abraham, but it worked out. Robbie was eliminated on Friday and I think he was a little frustrated with himself. He did a good job, but has some really tough competition. Kamren made it to Saturday and ended up taking 2nd in his division. He won another trophy! YIKES. Eric and I ran a table on Saturday, so we had to stay till the end of the competion. I think the boys had a great time.
This past week we went to California to see Emily and Mitch's baby girl Olivia. Emily is Erics sister for those who don't know. We met Katie, Eric's other sister in Wells Nv. and drove her down with us. We had to wait for an hour for her to get there as they did not listen to Eric on what time to leave. It was a blast waiting in a gas station with four boys who were already tired of being in a car!
Anyhow, we were on our way and had a pretty uneventful drive down, thank goodness. We packed in a lot over the weekend, the zoo, bird watching, riding bikes and scooters, visiting Grandma Larsen, going to Church, going to a movie...and just being together. Olivia is a doll and has so much dark hair. She is a good baby and I'm so happy for Emily and Mitch.
Katie announced she and Ian are having a baby in October. WOW! We are finally going to have some cousins on the Larsen side! The boys are excited about that.
The weather was wonderful and traffic was horrible. I don't really miss Calf. enough to move back. The drive home Abe was fussy pretty much the entire way. We dropped Katied off at Wells, again waiting about an hour for Ian to pick her up, but it was good for the boys to be out of the car for a bit. But it did make our trip longer!
We are happy to be home and back in the grove of things. Oh, it snowed yesterday! I wanted to be back in the sun of Calf. All the snow had melted and I was so happy. Then yesterday it snowed about 2-3 inches. I guess spring is a ways off for us in good ol' eastern Idaho!
